Every woman wants to be fashionable. Yes, this is a fact. Even women who only wear shirts and jeans express their inner FASHIONISTA through their own way. However, many people think that being fashionable means having to be a label-lover and spend thousands and thousands of dollars. This might be true in most cases but that cannot stop fashion lovers out there from being in the trend while spending less than the cost of runway fashion. The key to being fashionable without breaking the bank is through finding bargain stores, mixing and matching outfits, buying classic pieces and distinguishing if a buy is a splurge or a steal. Here are the tips for you to exude casual elegance even on a day-to-day basis while still keeping an ample amount in your savings.

Buy Classic Pieces

One way of saving money is by investing on classic pieces. This may range from tops, pants, shoes and bags. One example is investing on a cardigan; this is a classic piece that has always been used throughout the seasons. Another is an investment on tops that go under the cardigan. These tops can be used under so many jackets and sweaters that can change looks and moods. It's also essential to own a little black dress since it can practically go with anything and can be worn on any occasion. Invest in a good pair of black pants since you can pair it up with so many tops. On to bags, invest in bags that have good quality like leather or suede, also opt for a classic design in a color that goes with many outfits like black, brown or grey. Avoid investing on bags designed to go in and out of season.

Mix and Match

You can expand your whole wardrobe if you know how to mix and match your pieces. One pair of pants can make at least 10 outfits. One black, white, brown or grey top can be included with so many outfits. It's essential to own these items since you can never go wrong with neutral colors like these. This is because you can mix it up with chunky or elegant accessories or match it up with flats, heels or wedges and of course add it up with a bag and you've got yourself a winning look fit for everyday errands or work.

Splurge or Steal

Being able to identify if an item is a splurge or a steal is a capability that may take time for you to harness. No, it's not super powers but you need to have experience in shopping from high-end, middle class and low-end boutiques. So, if you already know what materials, designs and what-not are worth its price or can be found else where with a cheaper price tag, then you my friend are a certified splurge or steal master. Use this power to create your outfits just like how the runway presents them but without the price that creates a hole in your pocket.

Find Bargain Stores

We all have our favourite boutique, we like their cut, style and designs. However, it is also healthy to experiment with other stores since our style also changes through ages. So why not try to find stores that cater to your fashion personality while offering competitive prices. If it's just a simple top, pants or a cardigan I'm sure you can find a store that can give you just for under ten bucks.
