NEZ A NEZ PARFUM COLLECTION SERIES ONE: BOUCHE BAIE EAU DE PARFUMBy Felicia HazzardNez a Nez is a newly established (2005) niche perfume house located in Paris. This particular business is new but the Patout family has been developing perfumes for two generations. Nez a Nez was established by Christa Patout and Stephane Humbert Lucas. During their short time span in business, Nez a Nez has a cult following that takes a liking to the dramatic and edgy appeal of this perfumery. The first eau de parfum in a series of five is in no particular order but I chose it because of its fruity nature and tantalizing appeal to men and women. Bouche Baie is a sweet and fruity scent with an elegant appeal and loads of berries that makes this a harmonious trilogy of music. First, its silky consistency on the skin wows you with its burst of blackberry and the other berries that can be smelled individually with just one drop. It reminded me of eating a fruit salad and believe it or not all of these images and juicy fruit scents came from a small sample tube! The sillage is of excellent quality and it leaves a wonderful sweet, classy and heady aroma that last for hours.
The trilogy that I mentioned is what Nez a Nez perfumery created Bouche Baie to be which is to imagine, adventurous and determination. This definitely has been accomplished in Bouche Baie Eau de Parfum. Bouche Baie and the entire Nez a Nez Collection (total of ten) are masterfully composed by Parisian Master Perfumer, Karine Chevallier of Olfactive Design.
Ms. Chevallier created Bouche Baie with the following notes. Top Notes: blackberry, black currant, passion fruit Middle Notes: jasmine, African orange flower, cherry, peach Base Notes: coconut, vanilla, almond, white honey
Nez a Nez perfumery has carved their way into the hearts of many with their original style and creations, which has set them apart as the new generation of niche perfumery.
