This season, What Goes Around Comes Around (WGACA)—New York City’s preeminent vintage lifestyle destination — has partnered up with one-of-a-kind custom cleaning and alteration specialist, Madame Paulette®, to make its luxury vintage collection even more flawless. Madame Paulette’s® in-house celebrity stylist Lauren Rae Levy pulled vintage couture designer pieces from the What Goes Around Comes Around’s SoHo Vault to be expertly cleaned and restored at Madame Paulette. Now in pristine condition, these pieces have been showcased at Madame Paulette’s flagship store windows as part of Levy’s May Flowers themed display. The styled looks will be on display through the remainder of the month, and are all available for purchase directly through WGACA's SoHo store.
Lauren Rae Levy’s expertise in designing the stunning window displays come from her extensive experience as a celebrity/ editorial/ runway fashion stylist, retail/ branding/ lifestyle consultant, and personal shopper. Following her graduation from the University of Miami, Ms. Levy began her career in fashion by opening Catherine Malandrino boutiques in East Hampton and Manhattan’s chic Meat Packing District, after which her managerial leadership led her to help open Intermix’s Southampton and SoHo locations. Levy soon stepped into the position of Director of Stores and Personal Shopper for Blue & Cream, helping to open the Blue & Cream’s Bowery store in Manhattan. Ms. Levy has worked with noteworthy celebrities including Bethenny Frankel, Jessica Hart, Lydia Hearst, Kathy Hilton, Paris Hilton, Sarah Jessica Parker, Beth Shak, Molly Simms, Tara Reid, just to name a few. She has also appeared on shows such as Extra!, Inside Edition, The Tyra Show, Jerseylicious, NYC Prep,and The Real Housewives of New York. Most recently, Lauren Rae Levy styled David Meister’s Spring/Summer Fashion Show to benefit the Dawson Scleroderma Foundation, featured on Season 4 of RHONY. Lauren Rae Levy was also honored as June 2010’s Featured Young Philanthropist forCharityHapenning.org, as she contributes much of time and effort to a variety of causes including the Cancer Research Institute, UNICEF, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Dawson Scleroderma Foundation, and Dress for Success Foundation, to name a few.
