Waterproof mascara has become one of the staples of the modern woman's makeup arsenal. You can now sweat, run, exercise, all to your heart's content without having to worry about how your face will look at the end of the day There are many different ingredients to your makeup but figuring it out how to cancel out the long-lasting effects at the end of the day do not have to be a hassle. You can have many natural remedies to work in your favor or you can utilize commercial makeup removers. There are many choices you can make today on the market and there are many ways to accomplish the same thing.

One of the best ways to remove waterproof mascara is to use natural makeup removers. Olive oil is a great choice in removing water proof mascara since it will not dry out your eyes and will keep your face looking great while even removing makeup. To do this, you can dab some olive oil on a cotton pad and gently pass it over your eyelashes. Now the waterproof mascara comes off your face and you can now wash your face and moisturize accordingly. Another amazing product is petroleum jelly. You can use petroleum jelly by coating your lashes in the jelly and waiting for about 5 minutes. Now remove it using a cotton pad. However, you should remember to remove all of the petroleum jelly as it can actually prevent your next coat of waterproof mascara from getting on your eyelashes at all.

Of course, with makeup, there are commercial makeup removers. However, since different products work for different people and there are many other effects that body chemistry plays into the removal, you want to make sure that you read many reviews but also try it on for yourself. You never know what will work for you unless you test it out first. There are many different lines of makeup remover on the market today, you can get liquid or cream based lotions or even moistened wipes, so it all depends on your budget, portability of your makeup, and your own time. You can also use Pond's cold cream or makeup remover as I have personally found it a great resource. If you get mascara on your clothes, you can use spray or liquid stain remover to remove it. If it is still there, mix a solution of one-third ammonia and three-fourths cold water.
