Be Delicious Perfume by DKNY Offers Smart, Sassy Sophistication

Be Delicious Perfume by DKNY Offers Smart, Sassy Sophistication

By Jason Balchand

Take a bite out of the Big Apple and dab a little Be Delicious Perfume by DKNY on your favourite pulse points. Designed by famous American designer Donna Karan's fashion house, this exceptional woman's fragrance was inspired by the vibrancy and indomitable spirit of New York City. Even the packaging pays homage to the "City that Never Sleeps" with its glass and metal bottle smartly shaped like an apple.

This perfume is a happening scent - like a sensual party for the senses. It's exciting and fun with a hint of daring adventure, just like what many people feel that New York City represents. It's refreshingly modern with a spirited kick that virtually shouts "there's no one else like me and I like it that way." Mixing with your body chemistry, this DKNY ladies scent dons an individualistic aroma that will not only keep you thinking happy thoughts but also draw in those around you.

Wear It Often

Be Delicious Perfume by DKNY is a casual, everyday scent that transitions well from the corporate office to dinner with friends. It's an energetic, bright floral-fruity blend of yumminess that pairs well with sporty, informal attire. Just like New York City, this scent is embraces individuality and character.

At first sniff, you will detect top notes of wholesome red apples, cool, crispy cucumber, southern belle magnolia and the sweet tartness of citrusy grapefruit. At the heart of this Donna Karan fragrance is traditional tuberose, delicate white lily of the valley and old-fashioned violet. Providing the base notes of this delectable fragrance are dusky white amber, warm sandalwood and snappy dry blonde wood.

A number of ladies colognes offer a mix of exotic flowers and the musky characteristics of sensually warm woods. However, only Karan can create a blend of scents that should seemingly fit better with a night on the town and twist it to suit the casual, everyday.

I am Woman

Perfumes by DKNY typically embody the smart, sassy sophistication that many women wish they had more of. What you may not realise is that you already have those qualities but Be Delicious just seems to bring them to the forefront effortlessly. The phrase "I am woman, hear me roar" has never seemed more appropriate than when wearing this lively scent.

Perfumes are important lifestyle choices and Be Delicious Perfume by DKNY is no exception. It is perfect for the audaciously charming woman in her late 20's to her 40's who wants to hold the world in the palm of her hand and knows what to do to get it.

Bvlgari Man Cologne - The Ultimate in Class

Bvlgari Man Cologne - The Ultimate in Class

By Jason Balchand

In the jewelery world, the name Bvlgari is synonymous with elegance and class, and those two qualities shine through with this company's latest male fragrance Bvlgari Man Cologne. If you are looking for a refined, tasteful scent that personifies a casual masculine suaveness and sophistication, this is it.

The handsome, smooth qualities of actor Clive Owen are the perfect foil for this fragrance by the perfume empire of Bvlgari. These qualities are, in fact, the very reason why he was chosen to represent it. Men who strive for that casual elegance and the women who want those qualities in a man are likely going to go for it. Its square clear glass bottle with a bold, black band at the top sporting the embossed company logo visually screams class.

Its Scentsabilities

Alberto Morillas is the famous "nose" behind Bvlgari Man Cologne and he has worked with this fashion powerhouse on a number of other scents as well. If only a few words could be used, someone might call this cologne an oriental woodsy fragrance. However, this generic description could fit hundreds of other scents and Man is anything but ordinary.

One of the first hints of this intoxicating cologne is the top lotus notes, normally a more feminine smell. However, the lotus is balanced with other top notes of bergamot, a spicy, fruity citrus scent and violet leaf, a peppery green aroma. The middle underlying notes come from a variety of woods, the warmth of sandalwood and vetiver, an earthy, piquant essential scent derived from oriental grasses.

The base notes however are what linger and create fragrant memories. Cashmere wood and the nectar of the gods, white honey, create a gourmet medley for the olfactory senses. Sultry amber, the warmth of musk and benzoin, a musky vanilla scent derived from tree resin round out this masculine perfume.

An Understated State of Mind

If you typically leave the house with just the smell of soap on your skin because most male fragrances are too overpowering, this Bvlgari scent would likely make you a convert. Yes, it has a commanding aroma that garners attention but it is fresh, clean and elegant. The scent lingers subtly and makes you smell like you, only better.

When male perfumes knock on your door before the man wearing it does, it can be quite the turn-off. However, Bvlgari Man Cologne invisibly lassoes the senses, providing you with an intangible, debonair sophistication that just might help you create some delicious memories.

Nez a Nez Parfum Collection Series One: Bouchie Baie Eau De Parfum

NEZ A NEZ PARFUM COLLECTION SERIES ONE: BOUCHE BAIE EAU DE PARFUM

By Felicia Hazzard

Nez a Nez is a newly established (2005) niche perfume house located in Paris. This particular business is new but the Patout family has been developing perfumes for two generations. Nez a Nez was established by Christa Patout and Stephane Humbert Lucas. During their short time span in business, Nez a Nez has a cult following that takes a liking to the dramatic and edgy appeal of this perfumery. The first eau de parfum in a series of five is in no particular order but I chose it because of its fruity nature and tantalizing appeal to men and women. Bouche Baie is a sweet and fruity scent with an elegant appeal and loads of berries that makes this a harmonious trilogy of music. First, its silky consistency on the skin wows you with its burst of blackberry and the other berries that can be smelled individually with just one drop. It reminded me of eating a fruit salad and believe it or not all of these images and juicy fruit scents came from a small sample tube! The sillage is of excellent quality and it leaves a wonderful sweet, classy and heady aroma that last for hours. The trilogy that I mentioned is what Nez a Nez perfumery created Bouche Baie to be which is to imagine, adventurous and determination. This definitely has been accomplished in Bouche Baie Eau de Parfum. Bouche Baie and the entire Nez a Nez Collection (total of ten) are masterfully composed by Parisian Master Perfumer, Karine Chevallier of Olfactive Design. Ms. Chevallier created Bouche Baie with the following notes. Top Notes: blackberry, black currant, passion fruit Middle Notes: jasmine, African orange flower, cherry, peach Base Notes: coconut, vanilla, almond, white honey Nez a Nez perfumery has carved their way into the hearts of many with their original style and creations, which has set them apart as the new generation of niche perfumery. EDITOR’S NOTE: The extension of this series will include an EXCLUSIVE interview with Karine Chevallier. Versace Perfumes: A Wonderful Variety of Scents

Versace Perfumes: A Wonderful Variety of Scents

By Pham Juliat

Versace is one of the major brands in high fashion and everything from their clothing to sunglasses and home products are very popular. Versace also produces fragrances to match their bright and bold style and their latest perfume, Vanitas, is set to hit stateside in 2012. Other Versace perfumes include Versense, Woman, Bright Crystal, Crystal Noir, Signature, Versus, Red Jeans and Baby Rose Jeans.

The most popular Versace fragrances are the Versace Crystal perfume and the Versace Jeans collection. Crystal Noir was launched in 2004 and is one of the best rated Versace fragrances and contains aldehydes, tuberose, orange blossom, gardenia, amber, coconut, cherry and grapefruit notes.

Unlike many of the currently available perfumes that are sweet, girly or cute, the Versace Crystal Noir perfume is dark, spicy and seductive. While you are most likely to recognize white floral and coconut smell, but the amber base also comes through and makes this scent perfect for wearing during the fall or winter season.

The Bright Crystal fragrance on the other hand is very much a fruity floral fragrance that is not particularly memorable but is pleasing and can be used for any occasion. This is an excellent go-to fragrance when you just cannot find something right.

Notes include iced accord, yuzu, pomegranate, peony, magnolia, lotus flower, acajou, vegetal amber and musk to combine into a sheer perfume.

The Versense scent is easily described, fresh, that is what it is. Top notes are bergamot, green mandarin and fig zests. Mid notes are sea lily, jasmine and cardamom while base notes are sandalwood, cedar, olive wood and musk.

Excellent lasting power combined with a fresh citrusy opening that eventually turns into cardamom and then the sensual and woodsy musk and sandalwood in the dry down. Versace Versus was first launched in 1992 but a newer version was released earlier this year. The new Versus perfume is a re-composition and comes in a bluish-purple bottle. The new Versus features kumquat, star apple and lemon in the top notes.

Middle notes are orange blossom, stephanotis and centifolia rose while the base includes musk, patchouli and ambrette seed. It is clearly a fruity-floral scent but is somewhat different from what is available on the market. Users generally like it as long as it agrees with their body chemistry but it is not mind-blowing or amazing.

Versace perfumes in the past have been both very good and quite bad. The latest fragrances generally are pleasing but not attention grabbing like some of their previous efforts. We look forward to trying out Versace Vanitas when it arrives in 2011 as it just might be the one.

You can find all these Versace fragrances and more at Real Woman Jeans with up to 50% off as well as free shipping with our special promotion.

Christian Dior Fragrances: Old Classics & New

Christian Dior Fragrances: Old Classics & New

Author: realwomanjeans

Christian Dior was a very influential French designer and created the Christian Dior brand, which produces haute couture as well as retailing it. Christian Dior SA also produces makeup, skincare and fragrances and some of their perfumes are amongst the most popular today.
The first Christian Dior perfume was the Miss Dior launched in 1947. The Miss Dior perfume contains aldehydes, gardenia, bergamot, carnation, jasmine, neroli, rose, narcissus, leather, sandalwood, amber, patchouli, oakmoss and vetiver amongst its many notes.
Considered by many to be a classic, the Miss Dior fragrance is very feminine, classy and although it has been altered with the passage of time, still retains the core of what made it such a success in the first place.
Some of the more popular Christian Dior fragrances include J'adore Floreale, Miss Dior Cherie, Midnight Poison, Forever and Ever, J'adore L'Absolu, Addict Shine, Pure Poison, Addict 2, Diorella, Addict, Poison, Dune, Hypnotic Poison, Dolce Vita, Diorissimo and Escale A Portofino.
Eau Fraiche was launched in 1953 and is still in production chiefly because of its immense popularity. Categorized as a classic by Dior itself, the Eau Fraiche has mandarin orange and lemon top notes. The heart is rosewood and the base notes are vanilla and oak moss.
Dune is a more recent creation, launched in 1991, this perfume features bergamot, mandarin, palisander, aldehyde, peony and broom as its top notes. Heart notes include jasmine, rose, ylang-ylang, lily, wallflower and lichen.
The base notes are vanilla, patchouli, benzoin, sandalwood, amber, oakmoss, and musk and overall Christian Dior Dune elicits an oceanside or desert feel that is a great signature scent and smells fresh comforting.
Amongst the latest Dior fragrances is the Christian Dior Addict, which was initially made available in 2002. Remarkable for its strong vanilla scent, the Dior Addict has strong sillage and staying power and is for this reason vastly popular.
Unlike many scents that become popular due to floral, woodsy or fruity scents that are stereotypically feminine, the Dior Addict is an oriental fragrance that has a very strong scent at the beginning that gradually mellows down to a beautiful, warm vanilla scent with hints of incense and sandalwood.
Dior perfumes are not typical commercial perfumes targeted for the teen or tween market. Each scent has a unique personality which some may like and others hate, but considering the success of Dior fragrances, it seems quite clear that many more like them than hate them.
You can find all these Christian Dior fragrances at Real Woman Jeans and avail discounts of up to 50% as well as free shipping with our special offers.
